The Filling Station Coffee Shop is a local, female-owned coffee shop and music venue. I began going to The Filling Station in High School and in the summer of my sophomore year in college, I reached out to the owner with a handmade coffee-stained event card design made in the shape of their logo.

This turned into an ongoing design relationship where designed their website and photographed the workers, food, and space, I developed holiday campaigns, hand illustrated the shop for merch and print collateral, worked as a barista/cashier, and helped create an online ordering system when COVID-19 began to help them navigate and stay open during the pandemic.

This little gem of a coffee shop hosts local musicians, artists, and food trucks. It also is known for its authentic Mexican cuisine.
